Suzanne is a writer, educator, niche market publisher and infopreneur. The Australian writing scene has always been a major passion for her and she revels in discovering new Aussie writing talent.

When she does find exceptional writing talent, she tries to do her own little bit for promoting that new writer, whether it be through exposure on the www.aussiewriters.com.au web site, twittering or blogging about them, or even on occasion, publishing them.

She has developed a unique web site service for writers to promote and sell their books, both digitally and the hard copy. She even provides a service to help them create an audio version of their books.

The giftbookshop at www.giftbookshop.com.au also offers a unique outlet from which to sell their books.

Suzanne's Background:

Having taught for many years at all levels of our education system, nowadays Suzanne spends her time writing, teaching, publishing and reading in Canberra, the beautiful and creative, capital of Australia.

She’s the Vice President of ACTATE, (the ACT Association for the Teaching of English), and the Litlinks coordinator for the same organisation, www.actate.org.au/litlinks, an annual statewide writing competition for senior secondary students of English.

She has been a publisher for  number of years and is a published writer herself. Suzanne even owned a bricks and mortar bookshop once! Nowadays, she has a number of online bookshops.

Having completed a Master of Creative Writing in 2009, Suzanne is invariably engaged in several writing activities. She is co-authoring a creative writing textbook for Cambridge University Press, due for publication in 2011; writing a grammar textbook, also due for publication in 2011; busy with the final stages of editing a book of short stories she has written; and writes articles for a number of publications regularly. Not only this, but she is converting some of the traditional writing courses she has written previously, to e-courses for the Canberra Writing School. www.canberrawritingschool.com.au The first of these will be launched in January 2011.

Suzanne has three grown up children, Hayley, Tristan and Daniel, who recently travelled with her to Europe to re-discover their Hungarian roots. They are by far, her greatest joy!
